Dress Code

A semi-formal day calls for semi-formal attire.
To suit the aesthetic of the Grange Barn,
we kindly ask that guests follow the dress code.

For the Lads…

A black tie dress code for a wedding refers to semi-formal day or evening attire, typically consisting of a tuxedo (dinner jacket), a white formal shirt and a black bow tie, finished with black patent leather shoes.

Whilst we appreciate this may seem intimidating at first, really, it is just a posh looking black suit, with a matching bow-tie!

That said, we are not expecting perfection. Please feel free to wear what you are most comfortable in, if a tuxedo is just not your style.

For the Ladies…

Soft pastel tones and delicate florals are warmly encouraged… anything that offers a gentle contrast to the classic black tie attire.

We kindly ask that bold or bright colours are avoided where possible and most importantly, that white is not worn (for obvious reasons).

Above all, please wear something you feel comfortable and confident in.
